Demos of the types of shots...
Close up - Often used to show emotion. E.g. To show the reaction of a character when they find something out.
Extreme Close up - Used to show a particular feature. E.g. The eye
Medium close up - Shows the shoulders and face, often used in conversational scenes.
Long shot - Reveals the whole body, used to portray how we see people in real life- whole body.
Over the shoulder shot- Mostly used in conversations to show the point of view of the characters.
Wide shot - Used to show a group of people or to empathise a particular background.
