Analysis of a title sequence which inspires you..

THE STEPFATHER..

The main reason the title sequence of The Stepfather inspired me is because of it's shock revelation at the end of the title sequence. At first I struggled to see a problem with the character displayed, until i saw the dead bodys lying around the house. I liked this idea because it shocked me to reveal that this character which is portrayed as a normal man doing usual everyday things, could be the potential killer of those people.

Also, the sound effects were particularly good as they helped the viewer sense there is something wrong with the situation before actually revealing what it is.

In addition, the idea of the change of identity of the man was daunting to me as it shows there is something behind his need to change his facial hair and eye color.
